Lisaks võistlejatele astuvad finaalis üles neli üllatuskülalist: publiku ette tulevad hiljuti 50 juubelit tähistanud legendaarne laulja ja helilooja Henry Laks, suurte tähtedega ennast Eesti tantsumuusika ajalukku kirjutanud 2 Quick Start, eelmisel aastal Eesti Laulu võitnud Malcolm Lincoln ning Kormoranid, kes enda sõnul on rokkmuusika ajalukku jäädvustatud graniittähtedega.

Sloppy translation by me:
Don’t forget to turn on your television tonight at 9:35PM to watch the Eesti Laul [Estonian Song] 2011 Final. Channel ETV. The winner/winning song will represent Estonia on the 56th Eurovision Song Competition in Dysseldorf.
Besides the contestants the audience will see four surprise performances: Henry Laks (singer and songwriter, who celebrated his 50th Birthday recently), 2 Quick Start (a popular pop band from the 1990’s), Malcolm Lincoln (who won the local Eurovision contest, Eesti Laul competition last year), and Kormoranid (a rock group).

my comments and possibly unpopular opinions:
I am a little sad, because though I kind of liked a few songs, the very few I liked really (though they may not have been the best choices for Eurovision) did not make it to the Final). I don’t really have a favorite in the TOP 10.
note 1: I like Mimicry, but not this particular song.
note 2: I was really surprised to see the fantastic a cappella group Noorkuu perform a non a capella song. I like them as an a capella group.
The dress (or top) looks like it’s in the colours of the Estonian flag:

Happy Independence Day Estonia!
I urge everyone to watch this documentary about how Estonia regained their independence from the Soviet Union, if not for the interesting history, then the amazing music. This is exactly why I am so ridiculously proud to be Estonian.
The documentary comes with English subtitles.
the little country that sang itself to freedom.
The song was performed more or less by the same singers at the same place 20 years earlier, during Estonia’s Singing Revolution which led to Estonia regaining its independence after decades of Soviet occupation.
